Loved this snarky post! I'm one of those rare people still loving canola oil, and I really don't care what people say. It's got an awesome nutty flavor that no other oil can mimic. I use other fats and oils too, of course, but they each have their time and place.

There are so many other important environmental aspects of organic food though, reducing synthetic fertilizers and pesticides are great things from organic food!

You're absolutely right! The bit about giving up organic was one of my colleagues nihilistic response to the microplastics issue coupled with the price of organic food. We're just all a little snarky over here!
